MORE CANCELLATIONS
Due to the ongoing pandemic sitation, Wagner's Tannhäuser in which Rodrigo was going to work as a répétiteur has been cancelled. Space problems in order to meet the new safety measures both in the pit and on stage, made impossible to carry on with the production.

SPANISH PREMIERE
Today Gran Teatre del Liceu starts the rehearsal of George Benjamin's Lessons in Love and Violence, an opera in which Rodrigo will work as a répétiteur and that will be premiered in Spain on the 26th February. Click here for all the details!

BACK TO GSA
After its postponement back in April due to the Coronavirus Health Crisis around the globe, Rodrigo de Vera returns to Venice as faculty member for the Solti-Peretti Répétiteurs' Masterclasses organised by the Georg Solti Accademia. PERALADA FESTIVAL
The artistic activity in Cataluña (Spain) is slowly going back to "normal". For example, the orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu will be performing at the prestigious Festival Castell de Peralada, where Rodrigo will play the harpsichord in Händel's Music for the Royal Fireworks. SEASON 2020/21
The Gran Teatre del Liceu has just announced its 2020/21 season. A season that, despite being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, it will include ambitious titles such us George Benjamin's Lessons in Love and Violence, together with more usual titles such us Tannhäuser, La bohème or Don Giovanni. CANCELLATIONS
Due to the Coronavirus Health Crisis in Spain and around the world, all activity has been cancelled at the Gran Teatre del Liceu until next season. Besides, the Georg Solti Accademia to which Rodrigo had been invited as a music staff, has also been posponed.

ASSISTANT CONDUCTOR AT THE LICEU
Rodrigo de Vera will make today his Gran Teatre del Liceu debut as an assistant conductor. It will be on Mahler's symphony no.2 "Resurrection" under the baton of the company's Music Director, Josep Pons. This concert is one of the highlights of this season, in which the Liceu celebrates its 20th anniversary of the re-opening after the big fire in 1994. Click here for more information.

DEBUT AT LIFE VICTORIA
In exactly a month, Rodrigo de Vera will make his debut at the LIFE Victoria Lied Festival accompanying American baritone Jaco Scharfman. RECITAL IN BELLVITGE
On Friday 13th September at 9pm (CET), Rodrigo de Vera will perform together with Spanish soprano Laura del Río at the Centro Cultural de Bellvitge in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona. Together they will offer a concert in which they will perform some of the most famous opera arias for soprano and zarzuela romanzas. And admission is free!

RECITAL IN BURGOS
On Friday 31st May at 8.30pm (CET), Rodrigo de Vera will perform together with Spanish bass Rubén Amoretti and Albanian soprano Nina Muho at the Teatro Principal de Burgos, in Spain. I OPERA XXI AWARDS
The Hall of Mirrors of the Gran Teatre del Liceu will host the I Opera XXI Awards this evening. An event where Rodrigo de Vera will perform together with great soprano Mariella Devia, who will receive a prize for her Lucrezia Borgia of 2017 in La Coruña, Spain.

2019 marks the 20th year since the re-opening of the Gran Teatre del Liceu after the big fire in 1994. AINHOA ARTETA CANCELS 2 PERFORMANCES OF BUTTERFLY
Spanish soprano Ainhoa Arteta who is meant to make her debut as Madama Butterfly at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, cancelled her two first performances due to a severe laryngitis. Instead, Italian soprano Maria Teresa Leva will sing the role of Cio-Cio-San.

KAUFMANN AS CHÉNIER
The first three performances of David McVicar's production of Andrea Chénier at the Liceu Opera House in Barcelona will be sung by acclaimed tenor Jonas Kaufmann. CONCERT IN GENEVA
The symphonic orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu will make its debut at the Headquartes of the United Nations in Geneva on Saturday 9th December. Conducted by its principal conductor Josep Pones, they will offer a concert including pieces such as the Vier letzte Lieder by Strauss or Beethoven's 7th symphony.
